Plastic Surgeon

Your Role:

  • Examine and assess patients to determine suitable course of treatment
  • Perform invasive surgeries to correct physical deformities in patients
  • Administer non-surgical treatments to enhance outward aesthetics
  • Use 3D imaging when available or photographs and verbal descriptions to identify patient’s visual expectations
  • Educate patients on risks associated with procedures and proffer recommended pre and post operative requirements
  • Follow up with patients post surgery to track their healing process
  • Utilize the electronic medical record system
  • Record patient’s health history in electronic medical record system or review and approve notes that are scribed by medical assistant
  • Float to multiple locations regionally as needed
  • Provide exceptional bedside care and counsel to each patient
  • Maintain a clean practicing environment
  • Direct and coordinate activities of medical assistants
  • Confer with colleagues and medical professionals to exchange ideas
  • Perform skin cancer surgeries for referring practitioners within the practice and coordinate with them as necessary regarding specific patients
  • Maintain license through ongoing Continuing Medical Education credits as required
  • Abide by OSHA, HIPAA, and other relevant medical office regulations

Your Qualifications:

  • Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
  • Completion of a training program in dermatology from an accredited university
  • Board Certification
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Ability to make patients feel comfortable, welcome, and heard
