Dr. Mikhail Vaysberg was born in Kiev, Ukraine and immigrated to the United States in 1992. He received both his undergraduate and doctorate degrees at Midwestern University in Chicago. Then he completed a four-year residency in ear, nose and throat surgery at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a fellowship at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He is board certified in otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and the American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Vaysberg is a former assistant professor at the University of Florida and currently serves on staff at the University of Florida Cancer Center in Orlando. In 2009, Dr. Vaysberg received the Exemplary Teacher Award, and his articles about cancers of the head and neck have been widely published.
