Skin Tag

A skin tag is a non-cancerous, painless growth on your skin that may be flesh-colored or brown and either smooth or wrinkled. Skin tags are formed due to friction, perhaps where a collar, clothes, jewelry, or skin has rubbed against the same spot repetitively.

They are not dangerous or cancerous. Occasionally, the friction may cause irritation and subsequent bleeding. If a skin tag bothers you or bleeds often, our cosmetic surgeons can remove it.
