Gluteal Reduction

Gluteal Reduction

If your glutes are saggy or generally out of proportion to your body, a gluteal reduction can sculpt, shrink, and contour, for a tighter, firmer rear. This surgery often reduces cellulite as well, since it removes fat, and cellulite is caused by fat deposits. It is sometimes performed in conjunction with a gluteal lift, particularly if you’re seeking a perkier bottom.

Who is it for?

Healthy patients of any gender, who are bothered with the shape or asymmetry of their buttocks.

What is treatment like?

Gluteal Reduction Treatment is an outpatient procedure and performed under general anesthesia. Fat will be liposuctioned off of your buttocks, using small incisions and local anesthesia, and in some cases, your surgeon will resculpt the soft tissue.

What are the risks?

All surgeries carry risks for medical complications, which your surgeon will discuss with you. Don’t take aspirin, Advil, fish oil, or other blood thinners for two weeks before and after surgery, to avoid bleeding and excessive bruising.

What are the results?

Your buttocks will have a smoother, more toned, and more youthful appearance.
