Facelift

If your face seems to be sagging with age, a facelift can rejuvenate your appearance more effectively than any other procedure. This surgery will address deep wrinkles, while toning and tightening all aspects of your mid and lower face, resulting in a contoured, youthful appearance. Our surgeons have the ability to define your cheekbones while sculpting your chin and jaw in a single surgery.

Who is it for?

A facelift is a great option for healthy adults who are concerned about advanced signs of aging on their face. A facelift can correct issues such as jowls, loose skin on the cheeks or neck, and a sinking chin or jawline. In some cases, a facelift may be performed at the same time as an eyelid or brow lift, a neck contour, or other procedure.

What is treatment like?

A facelift is an outpatient surgery performed under general anesthesia. The incision scars will be hidden in the natural folds of your skin or along your hairline.  Plan for two weeks of downtime following surgery.

What are the risks?

All surgeries carry risks for medical complications, which your surgeon will discuss with you. Avoid aspirin, Advil, fish oil, or other blood thinners for a few weeks leading up to surgery, to avoid excessive bleeding.

What are the results?

After your surgery, you will appear years younger than you did before. Your facial features will appear more sculpted in line with your unique natural contours.  Your skin will appear more firm and more elastic. The results of a standard facelift may last up to 15 years.
