Brent Hopson

Brent Hopson is a physician assistant who specializes in medical dermatology and skincare. A recent St. Augustine transplant, he has been working in dermatology for 20 years. Brent Hopson discovered his passion for medicine as a Navy Hospital Corpsman and spent 15 years in the Army National Guard, earning the rank of captain. He received his physician assistant training at Midwestern University in Arizona, where he graduated with a Masters of Medical Science with a research emphasis. His background includes lecturing, research, and publication.

Brent enjoys flying, water sports, and the martial arts, and he loves medicine for “the connection you can make with people.”
