Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels use masques to remove layers of damaged skin in a controlled way, so that over a matter of weeks, old skin peels off and new, healthy skin grows in its place.  Results provide a younger, smoother, more radiant complexion.

We offer several different kinds of peels.  There are superficial, medium, and deep peels, targeting different layers of skin and different types of damage. Some have a longer down time than others.  Schedule a consultation with one of our cosmetic dermatologists to discover which type of peel might be suitable for you!

In many cases, pregnant or dark-skinned patients should not receive chemical peels.  Chemical peels are not for patients who have been treated with Accutane or another isotretinoin, who have had recent facial radiation or surgery, who have active cold sores, or who have an impaired immune system.
