A proud Florida native, Kanisha earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing, graduating Cum Laude, from the University of South Florida. She went on to pursue a career in Emergency and Trauma Nursing, working throughout the country as an Emergency travel nurse. After nearly a decade of Emergency nursing, she pursued her advanced studies at the University of South Florida, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Masters in Science in Nursing. She is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Outside of work, she enjoys biking, weight training, reading, and spending time with her husband and young daughter. She has a deep passion for dermatology and all aspects of skin health and care.
