PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

PRP Facial Rejuvenation is a natural, regenerative treatment designed to improve skin tone, texture, and overall radiance using your body’s own platelets. Often referred to as the “Vampire Facial,” this treatment harnesses growth factors found in Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) to stimulate collagen production, accelerate skin repair, and promote a youthful, refreshed appearance.

At our clinic, PRP facials are performed using advanced centrifuge systems and precision microneedling or injection techniques to ensure optimal platelet concentration and results. Because PRP is derived from your own blood, the treatment is safe, biocompatible, and ideal for patients seeking natural-looking skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime.

Who is it for?

PRP Facials are ideal for patients looking to improve fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, acne scarring, enlarged pores, and overall skin dullness. The treatment is suitable for most skin types and tones and is especially beneficial for those seeking a natural alternative to injectables or more invasive procedures.

PRP facials may not be recommended for patients with active skin infections, certain blood or platelet disorders, autoimmune conditions, or for those who are pregnant. A consultation is required to determine if this treatment is appropriate for your skin concerns.

What is treatment like?

The treatment begins with a simple blood draw, which is then processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma. A topical numbing cream is applied to the face for comfort. The PRP is then applied and delivered into the skin using microneedling or precise injections.

Most patients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure. Mild redness, swelling, or sensitivity—similar to a light sunburn—may occur for 24–48 hours. There is little to no downtime, and patients can typically return to normal activities shortly after treatment.

What are the results?

Results appear gradually as collagen production increases and skin cells regenerate. Many patients notice improved texture, brightness, and hydration within a few weeks, with continued improvement over the following months. Fine lines soften, acne scars become less noticeable, and skin appears firmer and more youthful.

For optimal results, a series of three PRP facial treatments spaced four to six weeks apart is often recommended. Our clinic in Winter Park offers personalized treatment plans to help you achieve glowing, natural-looking skin rejuvenation.
