Brent Hopson

Brent Hopson is a highly experienced physician assistant who has dedicated more than 30 years to medical dermatology and skincare. Before relocating to Saint Augustine 10 years ago, he spent two decades caring for patients in California and Arizona.

Brent’s passion for medicine began during his service as a Navy Hospital Corpsman. He later continued his military career in the National Guard, serving for more than 20 years and earning the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His extensive clinical experience is complemented by a Doctorate of Medical Science with an emphasis in research.

Throughout his career, Brent has served as an educator, lecturer, researcher, and published author. He has taught at several institutions in the United States and abroad, sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of medical professionals.

Brent is passionate about building meaningful relationships with his patients and believes the most rewarding part of medicine is “the connection you can make with people.” Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling, practicing martial arts, and finding plenty of reasons to laugh.
