Your Role:

  • Practice general dermatology such as perform skin examinations, diagnose and treat skin conditions
  • Examine and assess patients to determine suitable course of treatment
  • Perform biopsies as needed to detect skin conditions and skin cancer
  • Counsel patients on treatment options and long term care of their skin
  • Perform skin surgeries or refer patients to surgeons for any necessary skin surgeries
  • Prescribe suitable and appropriate medications to patients as necessary
  • Recommend diagnostic testing or refer patients to other specialists as needed
  • Utilize electronic medical record system
  • Record patient’s health history in electronic medical record system or review and approve notes that are scribed by medical assistant
  • Float to multiple locations regionally as needed
  • Provide exceptional bedside care and counsel to each patient
  • Maintain a clean practicing environment
  • Direct and coordinate activities of medical assistants
  • Confer with colleagues and medical professionals to exchange ideas
  • Maintain license through ongoing Continuing Medical Education credits as required
  • Abide by OSHA, HIPAA, and other relevant medical office regulations

Your Qualifications:

  • Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
  • Completion of a training program in dermatology from an accredited university
  • Board Certification
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Ability to make patients feel comfortable, welcome, and heard
