Rachel Reid

Rachel Reid is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine to examine, diagnose, and treat skin disorders. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is recognized as an SDPA Diplomate — the highest credential a dermatology PA can achieve.  

Rachel attended Murray State University and graduated magna cum laude from the Medical University of South Carolina with an MS in physician assistant studies.  

After graduation, she joined the US Army, just as her father, uncles, and grandfather had. She was part of the battalion PA for 1-5 Field Artillery, delivering comprehensive healthcare for her unit both in Fort Riley, Kansas and on deployment in Iraq.  

After being discharged, Rachel practiced at Precision Dermatology in Frisco, Texas and, in 2018, joined Mid Florida Dermatology & Plastic Surgery. Rachel looks forward to serving the military community in the Florida Panhandle and to providing excellent dermatological care to the people of the Emerald Coast!
