Sydney Byers

Sydney Byers was born and raised in Winter Park, Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Florida, followed by a Master of Science in Anatomy and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Florida.

Sydney’s interest in dermatology began before physician assistant school while working as a medical scribe in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Florida. During her physician assistant training, she continued to focus on dermatologic care by completing a dermatology elective and a plastic surgery rotation.

Coming from a family with a significant history of skin cancer, Sydney has a strong personal and professional interest in the early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancers. She is committed to providing thorough, compassionate care and helping patients feel informed and confident in their treatment plans.
